WHAT ARE AVENUE 29'S MONTHLY
The following will be paid to the office in addition to your rent
payment: Water is billed directly to Avenue 29 Apartments and then
charged to the residents account along with a nominal monthly fee.
Electric is set through the City of Tallahassee with the resident.
ARE THERE ANY SPECIALS?
While any special offers are included in your quoted rent, we do
have a preferred employer program that offer’s 3% discount on total
rent. Our preferred employer program includes the following: Leon
Country Schools, City of Tallahassee, State Employees, Local Law
Enforcement, Capital Regional Medical , Tallahassee Memorial
Hospital, Leon County Department Employees.
DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL LANDMARKS
Fun Station, Chucky Cheese, Publix, Walmart, AMC, Urban Market, The
Center of Tallahassee, Skyzone.
WHAT SCHOOLS ARE YOU ZONED FOR?
Our students are zoned for Sealey Elementary School, Raa Middle
School, Godby Highschool, Leon County High School, School of Math
WHAT IS YOUR PET POLICY?
We are pet friendly with no breed restrictions up to 80 lbs. The
pet fee ranges from $250-$350, and pet rent ranges from $25-45.
Both pet fee and pet rent are dependent upon the age and weight of
your pet. We do require the following documentation for pets:
Recent vet paperwork, photo and for the addendum to lease, and a
pet addendum to be signed.
HOW ARE YOU QUALIFIED TO LIVE
Each apartment must make three times or more than the amount equal
to one month’s rent, and meet credit score requirement. Resident
can self-qualify or provide a guarantor that meets the above
requirements. A deposit is required for each apartment depending on
the size of the unit. Proof of income is also required. Applicants
must also pass a criminal background check.
WHAT ARE YOUR FEES/DEPOSITS?
- Application fee: $50 per person due at signing.
- Lease fee: $150 per apartment
- Deposits: 1 bedroom: $250, 2 bedroom: $350 , 3 bedroom: $450 ,
4 bedroom : $550
Residents are responsible monthly for all utility costs associated
with electricity, water, and sewer.
DO YOU ONLY OFFER 12 MONTH
We allow leases to end throughout the year depending on
availability as short as 5 months.
IS RENTERS INSURANCE REQUIRED?
No, however it is encouraged. Renters insurance is a policy you can
purchase to protect your personal property as the
management/landlords are not responsible for replacement to
tenants. Replacement of your belongings if they are damaged, lost,
or stolen could be covered. The Collier Companies does not promote
any specific insurance coverage.
CAN I TERMINATE MY LEASE EARLY?
When you sign a lease with Avenue 29 Apartments, you are given the
option of an early lease termination. Each resident can choose to
either pay a termination fee and provide a 60 day notice to vacate
or to vacate early and continue paying rent on the apartment until
such time it re-rents. Residents can also complete an assignment of
the lease, which allows the resident to find a qualified renter to
assume the remainder of the lease agreement. Once the assignee is
found, both parties will work with the leasing team to complete the
paperwork to turn over the lease to a new renter.
